Abundant Life Preparatory has been set up to get struggling, troubled teens back on the right track. Abundant Life Preparatory is best known for emotional restoration, academic restoration (second chance to improve GPA and catch up on credits), and spiritual restoration. Abundant Life Preparatory is recognized as a "Therapeutic Boarding School", which is an academic-based residential treatment program. Parents and Students of ALP recognize us as a traditional Christian boarding school with a major commitment towards Clinical services, Therapeutic Intervention, and Academic Counseling. When students of Abundant Life Preparatory join the parents and the staff of ALP in becoming strong college-bound leaders we experience miracles of total restoration. Our goal is assist troubled teens toward "total restoration" with his/her family, academic excellence, and the resurrection of their spiritual life. The typical ALP student is a young man or woman who has rejected his/her Christian upbringing and is in rebellion against his/her parents. These troubled teens refuse to follow the rules of their parents, is enamored by the material trappings of this world, is caught up in peer acceptance, is emotionally immature, self-centered, and self absorbed. The typical ALP student has experimented with drugs and alcohol, is sneaking out and lying about their whereabouts, is becoming more and more isolated from the family, displays outbursts of anger, and is making many poor self destructing choices.These teenagers are focused on living in the moment and having fun. They don't seem to care about school, they are very moody, and they have a whole new group of friends that are also going in the wrong direction.
