Life Academy Ministries…
restoring struggling families |
Abundant
Life Academy Ministries is a powerful
early-intervention Christian boarding
school for troubled teens. Our job
is to not only heal the troubled teen,
but to restore the family as well.
There are many good programs and schools
for troubled teens who are rebellious
and out of control, and Abundant Life
Academy Ministries is one of them;
but we have a unique approach. Our
program is refreshing as we refocus
our students toward what really matters…
a personal relationship with Jesus!
Our goal is to restore hope, heal
the inner wounds of the heart, and
change the world for Christ! |

Abundant Life Academy is the answer for
families who are being divided and torn apart due to
the actions of a rebellious prodigal son/daughter. ALA
serves both boys and girls (separate programs) ages
12 to 18. We hope that your visit to our web site was
a prompting by the Holy Spirit… we hope that you have
been led to our school through prayer. Why? Because
only by divine intervention through our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, will your family be restored! To find

As led by the Holy Spirit, the professional staff of
Abundant Life Academy Ministries works to restore the
rebellious child back to God’s purpose, promise, and
destiny. This rebellious child, who is still very much
loved by our Heavenly Father, is defying his/her parent’s
authority and therefore is spiraling out of control.
The typical ALA Ministries student knows right from
wrong (they have been raised by good parents in a wholesome
home), but is now making poor choices and refuses to
take responsibility for his/her bad decisions. This
child, being very bright, finds creative ways to justify
their inappropriate decisions and blames everyone but
themselves for their trouble. This child is blindly
following negative peers and making poor choices, all
the while rejecting his/her parent’s Christian values.
This child is operating in a fantasy-based world, is
emotionally immature, and unwilling to follow parental
guidance. He/she is living for the moment, seeking immediate
gratification, and undermining his/her future. The typical
ALA student has been raised in the church by Godly parents
and is unknowingly running from their God-ordained destiny. |

Life Academy Ministries is a very unique school… |
Abundant
Life Academy Ministries is a non-denominational academic/boarding
program for kids who are academically unmotivated, in
rebellion toward their parents, and captivated by the
“trickery” of the world (deceit). Our students
have been caught up in the magnetism of the flesh (temptation).
Essentially, ALA Ministries is a Christian boarding
school for troubled teens… serving kids who are
off track, caught up in the pursuit of the fleshly deception,
looking for fulfillment in all the wrong places. At
ALA Ministries our students are restored to academic
success, restored to a life of principled values, and
to the Christ-like character that once was abundant
in his/her life.

- Saving the family through faith… |
There
is no more important unit that God has created and ordained
than the “Christ-centered” family. It is
within the Christian home that we learn to be Godly
people. God has designed the family so that in it, we
could acquire every foundational thing we need in regard
to emotional and spiritual growth. We learn to interact
with others in a Godly fashion through our interactions
with members of our immediate family, as well as our
church family. We acquire Biblical standards of living
through our Christian upbringing. We learn how to worship
God and to give Him all the glory through our Christian
rearing. Our happiness and purpose is realized through
our families, as happiness is largely a function of
the health of our relationships with those in our home
(family). Through the “troubled teen” Satan
has found a way to rob the joy and happiness that God
promises to those who love Him. Our families are under
attack, and the attack is coming right through the front
door.

| Early-intervention… |
ALA Ministries is an early intervention program for
the young man/woman who was once the model child, but
now is becoming more and more dishonest, untruthful,
and manipulative. This formerly good child is heading
toward becoming (or already is…) sneaky, (often
leaving the home without permission), sexually active,
drinking, experimenting with drugs, and only interested
in having fun with negative friends. Parents of struggling
teens, who wait too long, failing to enact a substantial
early-intervention program, usually regret that they
waited. Our suggestion is that you don’t wait…
get help before it is too late from an early-intervention
program. Whether you enroll your child into ALA Ministries
or another school, don’t wait! It only gets worse.
Right now the rebellious child is only “self-centered”
and “selfish”, emotionally immature, entitled,
and is making really dumb choices. At Abundant Life
Academy Ministries turning the “self-centered”
child around is not that difficult. But if you wait
too long, you may be looking at something far different…
something that is more permanent (pregnancy, drug addiction,
high school dropout, etc.) and other irreversible behaviors
that have lasting detrimental consequences.
At ALA Ministries we encourage change through our Christ-centered
leadership training and mentoring, thereby redeveloping
the foundation of character and integrity. Additionally,
we provide Godly coaching for the purpose of redirecting
the students back to a life of promise. Our goal is
to break the negative patterns of selfish behavior by
confronting those with “entitlement” issues.
We stop the “ugly” self-centered progression
and the destructive behavior that is linked to the selfish
attitudes of the rebellious teenager. Since “self-centeredness”
and “selfishness” is extremely destructive
in and of itself, we believe it is better to “nip
it in the bud” before it gets out of control permanently. |
