Christian boarding schools and troubled boys and girls are not an option to most parents in the US.  There are only a handful of really good Christian boarding schools designed for rebellious youth. Most States do not have Christ-centered boarding schools for defiant teenagers. States like California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Texas, and Florida do not have Christian boarding schools. These are "child rights" states, and child rights states normally do not license therapeutic programs where the child is enrolled without his or her consent.  In the child rights states the child must agree with the enrollment.  The truth is that most troubled youth do not, and will not, submit to their parents authority.  Therefore, its kind of ridiculous to believe that a struggling child will agree to attend a school for children in rebellion.
