Please help my at risk child from Ketchikan, AK find affordable help before its too late

Troubled teens are "at risk children" whose life has gotten out of control; they may be using drugs and alcohol, acting out in defiance, running away, and have dropped out of school. These teens may be getting in trouble with the law (underaged drinking, vandalism, or running away). An at risk youth may not be involved with any illegal activity, but still be considered "at-risk".  For example, a girl may be allowing her boyfriend to abuse her and not know which way to turn. A young man may have been sexually abused when he was younger and too ashamed to tell anyone. There are literally thousands of factors that would create an "at-risk-youth".

These struggling teenagers may have gotten mixed up in a suburban gang (gang wannabees) and they care more about the "acceptance" from their peers than they do about their future.  They know they are heading in the wrong direction, but don't care.  The acceptance of their peers are way too important. Troubled teens are any teenager who is involved in things that can ruin their life, or even end it. They may not even realize what shape they are in and that they need help.  At risk teens can be immature teenagers who are entitled.  Meaning, their parents have provided everything and the child is simply spoiled (demanding, selfish, self-centered, lazy, irresponsible).

Some at tisk teens may be involved with drugs, but not all at-risk youth are abusing substances. However, for parents - the more you know about what may be going on behind your back, the better prepared you will be to deal with your child's situation (preferably before it becomes a major issue). A lot of parents look at their child's outrageous behavior as a "phase" that they will grow out of... and its true, some teens do go through a short rebellious stage.  Unfortunately, most teens do not go through a phase without serious consequences.  If your child is "at risk", we can help you gind an affordable treatment intervention option.

At-risk-teams from Ketchikan, AK will rise up to expectations set before them

At-risk youth are often channeled to programs with special, reduced expectations for performance, especially academic performance. The effective schools, research strongly suggests, that schools establish and maintain high expectations and standards for all students and focus on helping them all meet those expectations. At-risk youth exhibit a lack of and strong need for success. With clear goals and objectives recommended by the effective schools, research shows, at-risk youth can move toward and achieve measurable success in school.

Happiness Quote “At some point in the night she had a dream. Or it was possible that she was partially awake, and was only remembering a dream? She was alone among the rocks on a dark coast beside the sea. The water surged upward and fell back languidly, and in the distance she heard surf breaking slowly on a sandy shore. It was comforting to be this close to the surface of the ocean and gaze at the intimate nocturnal details of its swelling and ebbing. And as she listened to the faraway breakers rolling up onto the beach, she became aware of another sound entwined with the intermittent crash of waves: a vast horizontal whisper across the bossom of the sea, carrying an ever-repeated phrase, regular as a lighthouse flashing: Dawn will be breaking soon. She listened a long time: again and again the scarcely audible words were whispered across the moving water. A great weight was being lifted slowly from her; little by little her happiness became more complete, and she awoke. Then she lay for a few minutes marveling the dream, and once again fell asleep.” ― Paul Bowles,

Joy Quote “If we never experience the chill of a dark winter, it is very unlikely that we will ever cherish the warmth of a bright summer’s day. Nothing stimulates our appetite for the simple joys of life more than the starvation caused by sadness or desperation. In order to complete our amazing life journey successfully, it is vital that we turn each and every dark tear into a pearl of wisdom, and find the blessing in every curse.” ― Anthon St. Maarten
